Town of Milk River · County of Warner
A volunteer department covering fire, rescue, and medical first response, with mutual aid across the south country.
Who we are
A volunteer crew of neighbours, on call for the town and the county around it.
What we do
The department answers fire, rescue, and medical calls across a wide rural district, often a long way from the nearest city help.
Structure, grass, and wildland-interface fire across the town and our district of the county, with tanker support where hydrants do not reach.
Vehicle and agricultural rescue on the highways and back roads, including the tools and training for a bad collision far from the city.
Trained medical first response on scene ahead of the ambulance, because out here the difference is measured in minutes.
